Bofink — Chaffinch
Breakfast suddenly came with free entertainment after we decided to hang a bird feeder outside our kitchen window. Several small birds came daily to eat with us, all with their own unik personalities. To be reminded of that there is so much more on this planet than just human life, and we are not the main character in any story but our own, is fascinating and calming in a sense. Suddenly I became the audience to such big characters in a different life, a different story.
Blåmes — Bluetit
The Bluetit became one of my favorites - he is cocky and self confident, yet the smallest of them all. He is quick to spread his wings and flair his top head feathers to scare off the others and is usually the one sat eating the longest.
Blue tits can be seen as a symbols of hope, renewal, and a reminder to maintain a positive outlook even during challenging times. He became an embodiment of how to show up for yourself.
